In other news, I am thrilled to appear on the pilot episode of “Branched Out” – possibly “the world’s first ever podcast to unearth the deep-rooted interconnections between multicultural and LGBTQ-inclusive stories and trees” – speaking about Frida Kahlo’s “Tree of Hope” (which I wrote about a couple of months ago on my Substack). Available on all your favourite podcast providers!

For Easter, more Kay Sage:

This week’s newsletter is on the remarkable, tragic, Kay Sage: https://open.substack.com/pub/sabinastent/p/tommorow-is-never?r=ceu&utm_medium=ios

Should you be a fan of my newsletter and wish to upgrade to paid content, well, now’s your day – I just published a very short piece about Villa Elaine: https://sabinastent.substack.com/p/villa-elaine
Usually, at this time of year, I post my TCMFF picks, but you may have noticed this year I have not, for the reason I have not attended the festival. I have also neglected this site since December 2023 (!) when I decided to experiment with Blogger instead (you are welcome to join me there, too!), but if demand persists I’ll continue to post here!
Something else that has been terribly neglected is my Substack due to my attention being elsewhere, but I recently wrote a short piece about the Birmingham Surrealist Emmy Bridgwater. What’s that you say, you’ve never heard of her? You’ve never heard of the Birmingham Surrealists? Head over to my page to see for yourself.
Latest newsletter is a short one about New Year’s ~feelings~ and Dorothea Tanning’s 1944 Self-Portrait. Read and subscribe here!
